Sustainable Resilient Longmont to Hold Rally Urging Longmont to Commit to 100% Renewable Energy by 2030
WHAT: Sustainable Resilient Longmont will hold a rally to urge Longmont to transition to 100% renewable energy by 2030.
WHEN: Tuesday, June 13th 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: 350 Kimbark St. Longmont, CO (on sidewalk in front of City Hall.)
In addition to the rally on Tuesday, Sustainable Resilient Longmont will hold a Renewable Energy Campaign launch party this Saturday June 17th. It will take place from 3-6:00 p.m. at 300 Suns Brewing, 335 1st Ave, Longmont, CO 80501. The event will feature speeches by local public officials, including State Representatives Jonathan Singer, Mike Foote, State Senator Matt Jones and Council Members Polly Christensen and Joan Peck.
