Carrot: Smokey Carrot Hummus with smoked organic carrots and organic chickpeas,

  • Longmont Food Rescue is a non-profit organization whose goal is to create a more just and less wasteful food system. Longmont Food Rescue facilitates the sustainable redistribution of food “waste” to agencies that feed hungry, homeless, and low-income populations while educating communities about food justice.
  • Sustainable Revolution Longmont will use our portion of the proceeds to continue growing as the sustainability hub for Longmont and beyond.

Chef Prepared Sustainable Cuisine for the Whole Family


 Enjoy completely scratch prepared food at the Youth of the Earth Festival 2015 provided by Chef Connie Gordon and team!

Healthy, Organic scratch prepared snacks and entrees  will be served on real dishes, with real utensils and cloth napkins to ensure that you are not only enjoying tasty food but experiencing a zero waste style of dining. The entire food planning and serving is part of our Xtreme Zero Waste event demonstration.

Recipes

Each item is made by scratch with recipes and instructions for you to prepare these chef designed foods at home with ease.  Recipes for each dish will be available on the Chef’s Blog.
