Youth of the Earth (YOTE) Day is an annual celebration of sustainability, resiliency, and eco-friendly living, centered on teaching our children how to best care for the earth. We believe that not only do we have things to teach them, but they have a tremendous amount to teach us. Not only do we include local Environmental Educators at our event, but we encourage local kids to work on and share a project of their own to help our planet. The 2nd annual Youth of the Earth Day event is once again being organized by local environmental group, Sustainable Revolution Longmont.

This year’s event will be at the Boulder County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 16th in conjunction with the Longmont Farmer’s Market. Last year’s event had over 1000 people in attendance, and with between 2000 and 3000 coming to the farmer’s market on any given Saturday, we expect to have a great crowd this year.

The Youth of the Earth Committee, organized by Sustainable Revolution Longmont, is completely volunteer-run. Your sponsorship dollars help to ensure that we are able to effectively market and successfully run this year’s event. This is a great way to support the innovation and creativity of youth who are actively engaged in solutions. Show that your organization cares by offering a cash or in-kind donation of services or products.
